bring the sun

Norwegian artists Lisa Pacini and Christine Istad decided to work on a collaborative project to bring the sun to the places and the people that saw so little of it. By teaming up with designers they were able to construct a large, circular light full of LEDs that slowly changes colour, melting into deep reds and lilacs. The light is exceptionally bright, and when firmly erected on to a pick up truck with wind-breakers and a generator, could actually pass as the sun itself. The light will be the centrepiece of the 100% Norway show opening to the public at The Truman Brewery in London on Thursday 19 September, and is not to be missed.
